the 5 min seat decision

Everyday life provides opportunities to have a multitude of situations arise. I find that I love to observe people that are around me, especially if it is out of the ordinary. I have tons of these thoughts daily, and I often find myself wishing that I had someone to share it with. So i figured that I would share it with anyone that loves to laugh. It may not elicit a full blown laugh, but at least a chuckle when you say, "yea that's happened to me".

I was catering a large pre-graduation event. I was in charge of two of the overflow rooms, so it took a long time for anyone to show up. After sipping on my lemonade at my drink station for about 15 minutes a couple walked into one of the rooms that I was taking care of. They were unaware of my presence in the adjacent room and the fact that I could over hear their conversation. They deliberated over where to sit for a long time, worrying about view of the screen, ease of access, wanting to avoid being interrupted, and not wanting too many people sitting next to them. Eventually they picked a spot because it was a smaller table and they thought it was carefully tucked away in the corner, so no one would bother them. Too bad for them, they sat right in front of the door that I had to walk in and out of through the entire meal. The guy never moved though.
